Our outstanding player Unai Elgezabal Udondo (25/04/1993), completed this past weekend the incredible figure of 200 games played in the Second Division.
In the match against Real Oviedo, in which his team, Levante UD, drew goalless, the excellent Basque defender reached this more than deserved number of games in the current Hypermotion League.
He was unable to celebrate with a victory, but he left his goal unbeaten and once again showed what an excellent defender he is.
He was a winner in all the disputes, being very forceful in all of them and led from the back with his usual hierarchy.
We are undoubtedly facing one of the best defenders in the category, with plenty of experience and an outstanding performance in all his seasons in this more than demanding Hypermotion League.
Captain and standard bearer of Burgos CF these past four seasons, Unai decided this summer to accept the proposal of Levante UD and aspires to be in the top positions of the standings to achieve a coveted promotion that would return the granota team to the highest category of Spanish soccer.
Unai has completed all the minutes in the league and has been the leader of the Levante backline from the start.
In these eight games, he has already had time to show all the quality he possesses and his acclimatization to his new team is being unbeatable in all aspects.
He already coincided with his current coach Julian Calero in Burgos CF, so he is well aware of his enormous potential and the enormous class that Unai possesses.
