Álvaro Rodríguez’s first goal for SD Eibar
Our outstanding player of the SD EibarÁlvaro Rodríguez Pérez (22/07/1994), made his debut as a goal scorer with his new team in the 3-0 victory against Granada CF, in the match played yesterday afternoon at the Municipal Stadium of Ipurua.
Goal to seal the victory
Álvaro came on in the 68th minute of the match, with the score already 2-0 in favor of his team, and just two minutes later he scored the third and final goal.
He received the ball on the right side of the front of the area and, after facing the rival goalkeeper, hit a beautifully curled shot to the long post that the goalkeeper could do nothing about. The ball crashed against the base of the post before entering the goal: a beautifully crafted goal that closed the scoreboard with 3-0 for the home side.
Experience and quality on the right side
Álvaro arrived this summer to the Guipuzcoan team after three fantastic seasons at Albacete Balompié, where he was a very important player and won the affection of everyone thanks to his performance and enormous human quality.
It’s never easy to leave a club where you’ve been so happy, but you can’t say no to the call of SD Eibar. This is an ambitious club that is aiming for everything this season and whose main objective is to return to the Primera División as soon as possible.
His adaptation to the Armeros could not have been better: 6 points in the first two matchdays and, in addition, a goal that confirms his great form.
One of the best right backs in the second division
This is one of the best right backs in the category, who in the last four seasons has played 134 games in the second division, proving to be a fantastic defender and a great attacker. A good example of this was the goal he scored in his second game with Eibar.
