Commitment turned into goals: Hugo Duro, a key player in Valencia CF’s present
Today at Mesas Sport we are celebrating, our sensational footballer Hugo Duro Perales (11/10/1999) added his 150th official match with Valencia CF last night in the match against Deportivo Alavés.
A forward who has grown, become established, and become a key part of the team.

- Since joining the club in the 2021/22 season, Hugo has played most of those matches as a starter, contributing goals and offensive presence. In the 2023-2024 season, he scored 13 goals in La Liga, his best mark so far.
- Last season, in 2024-2025, he registered 11 goals in La Liga.
- He has scored 39 goals with the Valencia shirt.
- He has 14 goal assists to his teammates.
- Last season he signed a long contract with the club until 2028: a reflection of the commitment to him as a benchmark.

Hugo Duro is not just a scorer, he has adapted to different systems, demonstrating enormous commitment.
He is a footballer who fights for every ball and offers different solutions when the team needs it. A forward with enormous talent that allows Valencia to have an excellent and highly reliable striker.

In turn, he can drop back to give continuity to the game or break into spaces to seek depth. And in the area, as a great forward that he is, he finishes wonderfully with both legs without neglecting, of course, his sensational header.

With 150 matches already in his bag, Hugo Duro has several open challenges: to continue increasing his number of goals, to consolidate himself as one of the benchmarks of this Valencian project and to help the team return to where it deserves.
