Pichu Cuéllar continues to leave his mark wherever he has played
At 41 years old, our outstanding goalkeeper Iván Cuéllar “Pichu Cuéllar” (05/27/1984), continues to expand his legacy. Yesterday he became the oldest player in the history of RCD Mallorca, a milestone reserved only for those who have sustained their career through effort, perseverance, and an inexhaustible passion for this sport.
And he celebrated it as he knows best, with a 2-3 victory against CD Numancia, a triumph that allowed Mallorca to reach the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey. A special night for a goalkeeper who continues to make a difference on and off the field.
This is now his third season at RCD Mallorca, where from day one he accepted his role with naturalness and commitment. He has always contributed the best attitude, putting his enormous experience at the service of the team. We are talking about a footballer who has become loved in every locker room and who has earned the affection and recognition of his own.
With an enviable career, playing for teams such as Atlético de Madrid, SD Eibar, Real Sporting de Gijón and CD Leganés, Pichu has left his mark wherever he has played. His great performance, his professionalism and his unquestionable winning character have made him a benchmark in Spanish football.
