Four standout names who shone with their teams this matchday
Four Mesas Sport footballers have shone again this week. Diego Barri dictated play in midfield and was one of the key figures in Castellón’s victory. Edu Llorente and Raúl Pescador each provided an assist, and Andrés Vallecillo opened the scoring with a goal.
Diego Barri
Diego Barri was one of the standout players in CD Castellón‘s 0-3 victory against UD Las Palmas. He played the full 90 minutes and, from midfield, brought balance to the team and once again showcased his quality and talent with the ball.
In his second season in Castellón, Diego is proving to be one of the most prominent midfielders in the division. His physical presence and ability to give meaning to the game have made him an indispensable player for his coach. The team is in second place with 23 points, and Barri is being a fundamental piece in this great start to the season.
We enjoy watching you shine on the pitch, Diego Barri.
Edu Llorente
Edu Llorente, a 22-year-old midfielder from Madrid, had an outstanding performance in Coria‘s 2-1 victory over Bilbao Athletic. From midfield, he guided his team with personality, quality, and energy, and also provided the assist for the second and decisive goal.
In what is his first season in Primera Federación, he is demonstrating what a great footballer he is and earning the coach’s trust on the field.
Congratulations on that fantastic victory, Edu. This is just the beginning. Keep growing!
Raúl Pescador
Raúl Pescador is having a superb start to the season with UD Conquense. With three goals and three assists to his name, the lightning-fast winger from Madrid is establishing himself as one of the most impactful players in the division. This Sunday, against Atlético Paso, he once again displayed his immense talent and provided another goal assist.
He can play on both wings and has an enormous ability to unbalance opponents. To this virtue, he adds his capacity to score goals and be decisive in the final third.
In Cuenca, they enjoy your football, Raúl, and we enjoy it even more.
Andrés Vallecillo
The very young 20-year-old midfielder from Santander delivered a fantastic performance in Racing‘s 3-2 victory against CD Basconia. He capped his performance by scoring the first goal of the match.
Andrés is a tall, strong, and skillful player with the ball. To his great physical build, he adds a lot of individual technique and the ability to dictate play and set the pace of the match. Last season, he even made his debut with the first team in the Copa del Rey.
In Santander, there are high hopes for him, and he is living up to that trust by demonstrating all the class he possesses on the pitch.
You opened the scoring and left your mark on a great victory. May many more come, Andrés!
