Our sensational footballer Hugo Duro Perales (10/11/1999), this past weekend reached the not inconsiderable figure of 100 games with the Valencianista jersey. Since his arrival in the summer of 2021, Hugo has always been very well treated and loved by the fans. His outstanding performance in his first season, where he scored 10 goals, contributed to his easy acclimatization. A footballer of unquestionable talent and total commitment, for him giving his maximum effort in every game is something non-negotiable and he shows it every time he takes the field. His great dedication, his grit and his character have always been pleasantly reciprocated by the fans at the Mestalla Stadium and all this, together with his great goal-scoring talent, makes Hugo one of the idols of the Valencia CF. In these three seasons, Hugo has scored 24 goals and 6 assists, averaging statistics within the reach of very few players. This season he has scored 12 goals, making him the top scorer of his team and the tenth top scorer in La Liga, just 4 goals behind the current top scorer Jude Bellingham. Hugo has always felt very much loved by both the club and the fans since he arrived and has never hidden his gratitude and affection for the shield of the ché team. What better way to reciprocate all this affection than by returning it on the field with his outstanding performance. We are in front of a complete center forward in all his registers. Powerful in the air and with a great back play, he is always a great relief for his teammates when they have to resort to direct play. Powerful in the run, he looks for space when he has meters behind him and is always a threat to the opponent. And as a great striker, his finishing ability is simply spectacular. He averages one of the best goal-to-goal ratios in Europe. Outstanding with his head, tremendously accurate with his left foot in front of goal and no less effective with his less skilled right foot, he is a very fearsome center forward in the final meters.
