Jose Luis Cort\u00e9s, 23 years old and a decisive goalscoring maturity<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Our outstanding player of Sociedad Deportiva Ponferradina<\/a>, Jose Luis Cortes <\/a> (22\/08\/2001), was the real protagonist of the match by scoring the two goals that gave his team the qualification for Play Off Final against Antequera CF.<\/a><\/p>\n

The fantastic center forward from Madrid never fails to deliver in the big games and once again showed off his great eye for goal in this important match.<\/p>\n

SD Ponferradina arrived at the match with the 1-0 scoreline against them from Malaga. The home team came out dominating from the start and looking to turn the score around. They had several chances at the start of the match, but it was not until the 24th minute that Jose Luis Cort\u00e9s made a stellar appearance. <\/p>\n

He received a good through ball and faced the rival goalkeeper after a great run, he held on until he saw the goalkeeper’s reaction and with great cold blood and with his left foot, he scored at the near post to score the first goal of the match to the delight of the local fans.<\/p>\n

A goal that clearly demonstrates several of Cort\u00e9s’s great qualities: intelligence in the clearance, power in the run and an ability to define within the reach of very few strikers.<\/p>\n

The Madrid striker’s show would not end there, as just 10 minutes later, after a nice team play, he received a ball in front of the defense, controlled and beat the rival goalkeeper to put the score 2-0 on the scoreboard. It was the 34th minute and thanks to the voracity and quality of the M\u00f3stoles striker, SD Ponferradina turned the tie around and took the lead. <\/p>\n

The match ended 2-1 in favor of the home team and, having qualified in second place and their opponent in fifth place, the tie was won by SD Ponferradina.<\/p>\n

Jose Luis Cortes’ performance was sensational on such an important stage and on such an important date. When his team needed him most, he did not fail and showed what an outstanding center forward he is. <\/p>\n

We are in front of a player of only 23 years old who came to Ponferrada this season from Rayo Majadahonda, where he scored 7 goals last season. This season he has already scored 8 goals and has established himself as a top level striker. <\/p>\n

Fast and very powerful in the run, he is a very intelligent player to get unmarked, as he always has the goal between his eyebrows. Able to associate with his teammates and to unload the game in front of him, Cortes is a very complete striker. <\/p>\n

But if there is one thing that stands out above all else, it is his ability to define. He has a cannon in both legs, he hits the ball with a tremendous hardness and has an enormous quality to define in any way. He has that characteristic cold blood in the great strikers that, when they stay in front of the goalkeeper, do not hesitate and are always very effective. <\/p>\n

At only 23 years of age, he is in the best moment of his career and now FC Andorra awaits him in the Play Off final.<\/p>\n
