Our Sporting de Gijón player Diego Sánchez (18/07/2003) was the architect of the goal that gave the victory to his team against CD Castellón by 2-1 in what has been the ninth day of the Hypermotion League. It was the 86th minute when Diego Sanchez’s volley gave Sporting the victory in El Molinon, putting the Asturians on the direct way to the playoffs. This goal of our great player Diego Sanchez has even more importance because the player from Aviles was coming out of a muscular injury in one of his calf muscles that has kept him out for a few weeks. Thanks to the goal of the comeback, the Asturian team adds its third consecutive victory and continues its streak straight to the top of the table.
