Diego Sánchez gives Sporting the win against CD Castellón

Our Sporting de Gijón player Diego Sánchez (18/07/2003) was the architect of the goal that gave his team the victory against CD Castellón by 2-1 in the ninth round of the Hypermotion League.

It was the 86th minute when Diego Sánchez’s volley gave Sporting the victory at El Molinón, putting the Asturians on the road to the playoffs.

This goal by our great player Diego Sanchez is even more important because the player from Aviles was coming off a muscle injury in one of his calf muscles that has kept him out for a few weeks.

Thanks to the comeback goal, the Asturian team has now won its third consecutive victory and continues its streak straight to the top of the table.
