Álex Sancris, unstoppable progression
Our outstanding soccer player Alejandro San Cristóbal Sánchez (19/01/1997), better known as Álex Sancris, signs for Getafe CF until 2028.
The magnificent winger from Madrid makes the leap, in this way, to the highest category of Spanish soccer at 28 years of age, after having been one of the most outstanding wingers in the Second Division in the last two years with his team, Burgos CF.
His time with the team from Burgos could not have been more successful. In these two seasons he has played a total of 81 games, scoring 12 goals and distributing 18 assists.
Extraordinary numbers for an extraordinary player.
This is a very complete winger in all aspects of the game. He is a player with a great capacity for unbalanced dribbling, thanks to his gifted technical quality.
He also has a great lower body, which gives him a differential change of pace that makes him a very difficult player to stop.
He can play on both sides, as he dominates both legs to perfection, despite being right-footed.
His ball striking is simply extraordinary: he has a glove on both legs and every cross of his is a great danger for the opposing defense.
In addition to all these characteristics, we are facing a player who understands the inside game very well and who stands out in the combative game. Very competitive and hard-working, Sancris has confirmed himself as one of the best wingers in the category, without any doubt.
His undeniable numbers only endorse the great work behind him, for a player who has not had it easy in this profession.
We had the pleasure of starting to work with him four seasons ago, when he was playing for Leganés B in the Second Federation, and his growth since then has been brutal.
After four years in the pepinero youth team, Álex decided to try his luck outside Madrid and signed for Linares, in Primera Federación.
His year there was outstanding, both individually and collectively.
He scored 4 goals and distributed 11 assists, dazzling a devoted fan base and attracting the attention of many teams in a higher category.
His great season in Linares earned him a move to Burgos CF, where he has performed -and in what a way- these last two years.
It was his first experience in the silver category, and from Mesas Sport we knew he was not going to miss it.
His enormous capacity for sacrifice, together with his honesty in his work and the search for constant improvement, have made him a key player for Burgos CF during these two seasons.
Simple, humble and a great companion, “Sancris” is a great person who, wherever he goes, is loved by everyone.
Both in Linares and in Burgos he leaves great friends and two fans devoted to an outstanding player and a wonderful person.
