Our exceptional player Alejandro San Cristobal Sanchez “Alex Sancris” (18/01/1997) was awarded this past weekend as the best player of the month of September in the Hypermotion League. He received the award in front of his fans and was rewarded with a well-deserved ovation thanks to his excellent performance on the field. In this past September, he played five matches with his team, winning three, drawing one and losing only one. On an individual level, he scored two goals and offered one assist, and his performance was absolutely brilliant. We are in front of an ambidextrous player who is determinant for his team’s game. Able to act on the ends of both wings, Álex Sancris is always a very dangerous player for the rival defense, as he perfectly handles both legs and you never know which leg to cover, as he has a “glove” with both. Fast and powerful in the race, with a great ability to unbalance thanks to his technical quality in dribbling, we are facing one of the best in the category. A tireless worker on the pitch and a player with a lot of character, he never shies away from defensive work and is always a very supportive player. But, if he stands out for something, it is for his enormous unbalance in three quarters of the field; that is where he is an unstoppable player. Apart from giving a great number of assists to his teammates every season, he is a player with a lot of arrival to the opponent’s area and has a great goal. The set-piece is another of his great virtues, and his teammates take advantage of his outstanding shot in strategy plays. At 27 years of age, Álex Sancris is in the best moment of his career and this well-deserved award only reinforces the constant desire to improve of this excellent player from Madrid.
