Toronto FC strengthens its grip on playoff contention with the return of Alonso Coello
Our extraordinary footballer, Alonso Coello Camarero (12/10/1999), could not have celebrated in a better way his return to the field of play, achieving an important victory for his team by 2-1 against Austin FC. After being sidelined for several weeks due to an untimely injury, fortunately he is now fully recovered.
The sensational Spanish midfielder once again showed all the class he possesses and had a great game. He distributed the game with great skill, displaying his unquestionable technical quality, and he was very good in the center of the field, recovering several balls of great merit. Brave and with a great vision of the game, he offered himself at all times to his teammates, providing innumerable ball outlets. He was substituted in the 59th minute of the match, as a precaution, when the score was 2-0 in favor of his team, Toronto FC.
With this victory, the team is in eighth place with 36 points, just two points away from qualifying for the final series of the championship. Alonso’s return is crucial for the Canadian team’s aspirations, as 20 of the 23 games he has played this season have been as a starter.
