Exemplary player on and off the field, he has always left his mark in all the teams where he has been thanks to his great professionalism, his good work on the field and his enormous generosity with his teammates and members of the club. A reference and captain in many of the teams in which he has played, his unquestionable honesty at work and always ready to help everyone in whatever was necessary, Chus earned the affection and respect of teammates, coaches and members of all the clubs in which he has played. Formed in the youth academy of Real Zaragozawith which he debuted in the First Division in the 2005/06 season, this has been his brilliant career:

This is a very complete player who played most of his career as a central defender. Thanks to his technical quality and his great physical display, he also played as a right back, left back and even as a midfielder. In fact, he has a great ball striking ability with his right foot and has provided several assists in his career thanks to being very accurate in lateral crosses and having a great vision to give that last pass for the goal. A solid and very intelligent marker on the field, he was very difficult to break down in individual duels thanks to his aggressiveness and his brilliant reading of the game at all times. Endowed with a very good technical quality, he was always a defender with a great exit of the ball from the back and who knew perfectly when it was the best option to take a risk and filter a pass between the lines or clear the ball with forcefulness. His more than 500 official games played during all these years, speak of his enormous professionalism and his brilliant career as a professional. An irreproachable player in all aspects, a tireless worker, an example for others and always ready to help everyone, prioritizing the collective interest over personal interest, a sensational footballer and an even better person if possible, hangs up his boots. Humble, generous, cheerful and very intelligent are just some of the adjectives we can use to describe this excellent footballer.
