A dream debut with the first team and an exhibition with the reserve team
Excellent news for our sensational footballer Etienne Eto’o Pineda (18/08/2002).
Rayo Vallecano ‘s outstanding talent will never forget this weekend, making his league debut for Rayo Vallecano on Saturday against Villarreal CF and, the following day, beating CUC Villalba (Atlético de Madrid’s affiliate) 3-2 with no less than a hat-trick for the Rayo Vallecano affiliate.
The sensational center forward is being rewarded for his hard work with an incredible number of goals with the reserve team and, now, with his debut in the First Division. Etienne has already scored 22 goals this season in just 25 games played.
Of those 22 goals, 21 have been scored with the Vallecano team’s reserve team, being, remarkably, the top scorer of the Third Federation. The other goal was scored with Rayo Vallecano’s First Team in the Copa del Rey, in the 0-5 victory against CD Villamuriel.
We are in front of a center forward with a really imposing physique, since he measures 1.91 m and is very coordinated and powerful for his height. He is a player with a lot of character and a great competitive spirit, who does not give a ball for lost and who is not weighed down by the responsibility of being the goal man of his team.
Fast and powerful in the run, with a great back play, he is always a relief for his teammates, as it is very difficult to steal the ball from him and he is very dominant in the air. Another of his great specialties is the header. He has a great leap and marks very well the times in the air, being a constant danger in each lateral cross for his rivals.
As a good center forward, he lives for goals and, once again, this season he is scoring a lot. He is a very complete striker who dominates all facets of the game, since, in addition to having a privileged physique, he has a lot of quality and understands the game to perfection.
This weekend he showed his incredible talent. In the first two goals he showed that, in the goalmouth, he is an accurate striker who defines with precision. In the third and final goal of the victory, he scored a truly great goal, heading a good lateral cross in an uncontested way.
