His performance in Riazor, in the victory of CD Castellón by 1-3 against Deportivo de La Coruña, is the best proof of this. Barri had a match to frame . 90 minutes of commitment, balance and personality against the leader of the category. A match that explains very well who he is as a player r and as a professional.
Barri arrived this summer from Cultural Leonesa, where he was a key player in a direct promotion to the Second Division. He landed in Castellón with the same humility as always, ready to contribute from day one. Today, that attitude has been transformed into an absolute confidence del míster Pablo Hernández towards him and has made him an essential piece in his schemes. This confidence placed in him, he is returning it with great performances week after week.
His team, with the victory achieved this past weekend, is ranked fifth in the positions that give the right to play the Playoff de ascenso to First Division.

With two seasons of experience in the Second Division with Albacete Balompié and a debut in Primera with Getafe, Barri brings a competitive maturity that is noticeable in every play. He works hard in defense, provides balance, asks for the ball whatever the result and the moment of the match and plays with the serenity of someone who understands the collective game perfectly.
Thanks to his effort and that of the team, CD Castellón has left behind a difficult start and has already fully entered the fight for promotion.
