Our players of the Albacete Balompié, Álvaro Rodríguez Pérez (22/07/1994) y Rai Marchán Vidal (11/08/1993) achieved a very important victory against CD Tenerife by 1-0 in the match played this weekend at the Carlos Belmonte Stadium.
Both players were starters and had a great game.
Álvaro was once again very secure in defense, covering all the incoming runs down his flank and also showed his great capacity in attack, going up with assiduity and serving several very dangerous balls into the area. A good example of this is the 2 goals and 3 assists he has accumulated this season. Last season he was already one of the best fullbacks in the category and in this one, he is showing again what an excellent player he is.
Rai Marchán, for his part, played in the center of the field and showed his great associative game and his ability to work and command in the midfield of La Mancha. He distributed the game with great criteria, was a winner in aerial balls and won many defensive duels thanks to his great positioning and intelligence on the field. He always offered himself to his teammates at the ball exit, choosing the best passing line and giving solutions at all times.
It was a vital match for Albacete Balompié in the fight to get out of the relegation places and with the support of their fans, the team from La Mancha did not fail. They are currently only 2 points away from the relegation places.
