Our outstanding footballer Jesús Jiménez Núñez (05/11/1993) is making history in his new experience in the Indian Super League by breaking the competition’s scoring records. Since making his league debut on September 15 with his new team, Kerala Blasters FC, the sensational striker from Madrid has accumulated 7 goals in 9 games played. In fact, he has made history by becoming the first player to score in 6 consecutive matches. This week he scored again in the match against Chennaiyin FC, where his team achieved an important 3-0 victory. It was in the 55th minute of the match when, after a missed shot on goal by one of his teammates, the ball came to Jesus in the goalmouth, and he did not miss, scoring the first goal of the match and opening the scoring in a match that was being very disputed. In addition to his incredible goalscoring records in this new experience in the Indian Super League, our excellent player accumulates a goal assist. We are in front of a striker of proven experience in different leagues, and wherever he has played, he has succeeded. His first experience in foreign soccer was in the Polish Górnik Zabrze, where he spent a total of four seasons. In Poland he became a true idol. Jesús was an absolute reference in the Ekstraklasa, being one of the great stars of the championship in Górnik Zabrze. There, he scored 43 goals in 134 games, to which must be added a good number of assists. After four brilliant seasons in Poland, he signed for Toronto FC on a transfer, and in his first season in MLS he showed all the talent he possesses by scoring 10 goals and performing at a very high level. The following season he signed with Football Club Dallas in a player swap between Toronto FC and the Texas team. After a year in Dallas, he ended his MLS career and signed with OFI of the Greek Super League. Finally, after his experience in Greece and after receiving many proposals, he decided to try his luck in the Indian Super League, where his performance has been absolutely spectacular. With the signing of Jesus, Kerala Blasters FC has strengthened its attack with a very skilled dribbler, fast and powerful in the race, and with a lot of goal. He is a player with a lot of personality, accustomed to carrying the team on his shoulders and to being the free-kick and penalty taker.
