Francisco “Son” Hidalgo Gómez, unstoppable in Bulgarian League: Two goals and an assist in a stellar match
Our outstanding soccer player, Francisco Javier Hidalgo Gómez (30/03/1994) better known as “Son“was the great protagonist of the day in the Bulgarian League, scoring two goals and assisting in another goal in the victory of his team, the Ludogorets 5-1 against Arda Karzhali.
The sensational full-back from Seville scored the first of his goals in the 8th minute of the match. After a good combination of his team on the left flank, “Son” traced a diagonal run at full speed from his right flank to the near post and the ball came to him low to score the first goal of the match.
It was a play more of a winger with a lot of arrival to the area than of a winger like him. His determination in the shot and his great speed to get ahead of the entire rival defense, put his team ahead on the scoreboard and thus facilitated the final result.
The assist came in the second half, when after receiving a ball on the right flank in the opposing half, he controlled inside and with a small run, saw his teammate unmarked between central defenders and served an exquisite pass to assist the goal that meant the 3-0.
The show would not end there, since in the 73rd minute of the game and this time playing on the left side, he received the ball, faced the rival defense and after a beautiful wall with his teammate, he stayed in front of the goalkeeper and with great quality and cold blood, shot at the short post making impossible the goalkeeper’s stretch and thus scoring the fifth goal of his team.
A stellar performance by a player of enormous stature who only demonstrates his great quality match after match.
We are talking about a player who can play on both sides and as a winger on both flanks as well.
Very fast, aggressive in defense and a dagger in attack, this is undoubtedly one of the best players in the Bulgarian League.
