Álvaro Rodríguez is a right back with a long career who can also play as a right winger.

Defensively, he is intense and forceful, making him difficult to beat in 1-on-1 situations. Offensively, his verticality, power, and speed make him a constant threat down the right flank. Thanks to these characteristics, he often reaches the byline with great ease and delivers precise crosses thanks to his excellent ball-striking ability.
