Jon Erice secures an emphatic victory: Arenas de Getxo defeats Castilla (4-1)
Some victories are worth more than three points, and this past weekend’s victory of the Arenas Club de Getxo against Real Madrid Castilla (4-1) is one of them. Victories that explain an idea, a method, and a way of understanding football.
Jon Erice is at the forefront of this project, a coach who has managed to build a recognizable, brave, and competitive team in one of the most demanding categories of national football. Baba not only responded, he dominated the match with his explosiveness, speed, and daring. His performance has earned him inclusion in the best eleven of the matchday in the category and he is on track to be chosen as the best player of the entire matchday in the Primera Federación.
At only 20 years old, he is completing an extraordinary season. Fast like few others, with a brutal ability to unbalance the game, he already has 5 goals and 4 assists when the halfway point of the competition has just been reached. Dizzying numbers for a winger and a reflection of unstoppable growth.
Pablo García, power and reliability
Another of the key names of the match was Pablo García, a left-footed defender capable of performing both as a center-back and as a left-back.
Author of the third goal of the match, he demonstrated his jumping power and his aggressiveness in the header after a set-piece action. Beyond the goal, his season is being of the highest level, providing solidity, character, and defensive reliability.
At 24 years old, Pablo is at a key moment in his career and everything points to the future holding great things in store for him.
